KEEP YOUR MOUTH HEALTHY AND PAIN FREE WITH INLAYS / ONLAYS!

Inlays and onlays are often used in place of traditional dental fillings to treat tooth decay or similar damage. While dental fillings are molded into place during a dental visit, inlays and onlays are made in a dental lab first, and then bonded to the damaged tooth by your dentist during a later appointment.

The restoration is called an “inlay” when the material is bonded within the middle of a tooth. Onlays are very similar to inlays but they are located in a slightly different place and are used to treat larger areas.

REPLACE MISSING OR DAMAGED TEETH AND ENJOY A BEAUTIFUL NEW SMILE.

Crowns: Crowns are tooth shaped caps that go on top of damaged or broken teeth to restore shape, strength, function, and aesthetics. Crowns last a very long time and you won’t even notice it’s in there!

Bridges: Bridges are used to fill the gap created by one or more teeth that are missing. A bridge is made up of two or more crowns which are on either side of the gap. Either dental implants or natural teeth can support bridges.

CEREC Crowns

With CEREC crown technology, Dr. Smythe can make porcelain crowns, inlays and onlays in just one appointment, while you wait!

The restoration is designed on a computer screen using virtual data and diamond coated instruments mill a ceramic block to reproduce the final restoration. All Cerec crowns and restorations are milled out of pure porcelain, so there is no metal in them. After polishing, the new restoration will fit perfectly and look completely natural.

Book an appointment and Dr.Smythe will discuss the “one appointment,” CEREC crown option with you.
